Transfers!

Dear Family,

Hello family! This past first week of the transfer has been awesome. For the first few days we were in a trio with Hermana Lock until her companion came. Transfers take a long time here on the island because missionaries have to travel really far on buses. Hermana Lock´s new companion is Hermana Allen. She is from Missouri and is really great! We now only have 4 sisters in our zone because the other area of sisters got white washed and there are elders there now.
Hermana Gómez and I are sharing investigators with the Elders--Melisa and Rodrigo. We teach Melisa when she´s home alone and the elders teach the two together. They have plans to get married and baptized this next month. It´s really exciting because they are progressing so much. They want to attend all of the activities at the church and it´s just awesome! It´s really awesome having 6 missionaries in one branch because we all work together. Yesterday we had MMT (Members, Missionaries, Temples) and a lot of members came to help us visit less active members in the branch. We´ve been having a lot of success!
This week Hermana Gómez and I made Pastel de Papas (hopefully you can see it in the picture). Pastel de Papas is Hermana Gómez´s favorite food and it´s delcious. It really was a miracle to find out that we can be successful at making food! The Lord really does strengthen His missionaries. The church is true.
I hope that you all had a great week and that you can see the pictures I sent! I love you all!

Love,
Katie
