September 21st

Family,

First off, I´m sorry for emailing late today! We left this morning at 7 am to head to Punto Tombo. Punta Tombo is where the penguins live. We saw a lot of penguins and took selfies with penguins and it was awesome haha. You´ll hopefully see fotos of all of that next week!

Last Monday we went to Gaiman with all of the hermanas from Trelew Norte and Trelew Sur. We went hiking and wrote letters to our future selves to open in 10 years.

This week we had our first meeting with our new ward mission leader. His name is Leandro Cuello and he served his mission in Buenos Aires. He´s super awesome because he accompanies us to lessons and is really helpful. Every Tuesday we have lunch in his house. This week Hermana Cuello made asado. Saturday we ate asado in another house, too!

Saturday and Sunday our whole zone met up in different wards to help visit the less actives and invited them to church. It was awesome because we got to go on divisions with the members and I think it was really effective. Also, on Sunday I had to give a talk about charity. I think it went pretty well. The bishop told me I spoke perfectly haha.

Things have been going well with our investigators. Right now our main focus is the Palomeque family. We´ve been talking to them about getting married (they have two kids). Hopefully they´ll be able to get married soon so that they can be baptized! We have another a few other investigators that want to be baptized, but we just need to teach them more first. Things seem to be going really well with our investigators!!

I love and miss you all. Have a great week!

Love,
Katie
