December 7th

Querida Familia,

Cory got baptized on Saturday!?!? Congratulations!!!

We had a great week! Our investigator, Bárbara, has a baptismal date for the 26th of December. This week we stopped by her house with a member that had accompanied us, but she wasn´t there. Bárbara´s dad, Mario, let us in and we shared the Restoration with him. We invited him to be baptized on the 26th and he said yes! Well, his exact words were, ¨Dale,¨ which was super funny haha. But it´s a yes! Bárbara and Mario came to church yesterday, too, so we are super excited about them. 

Hermana Monk and I were walking in the street and there was a young woman driving a car who stopped and called out to us. It turns out that the day before she had finished her mission in Brasilia, Brasil. She doesn´t live in Rawson, but has family here. She wanted to go teaching with us! I guess she still felt like a missionary haha :) MIcaela introduced us to her aunt, Luana, and we shared a message with her. We invited her to be batpized and Luana said yes! We were super happy about that, and so was Micaela because she´s the only member in her family. Not for much longer ;)

This Saturday we went to an Old Folks´ Home to visit the little abuelitos. It was funny because one fell asleep while I was reading him the scriptures haha. We sang Christmas hymns and it was fun!
