Rawson

Family,

Happy Halloween!

Things have been good here in Rawson. We haven´t seen very much progress with a lot of our investigators, but we´re going to keep trying!

On Thursday, we had lunch with the Mayor family and then their oldest daughter, Belén (she´s a return missionary, served in Chile), accompanied us. We visited one of her aunts, who is less active. It went really well and I think that we´ll see a lot of progress with her! Her name is Micaela.

We´ve been doing a lot of service this week, which feels nice to say. We stopped by to visit Hermana Cárcamo. She´s 88 years old. She didn´t answer the door because she was out back pulling weeds! We helped her and told her to go sit down and take a break but she didn´t want to! She´s such a sweet lady.

This Sunday, Hermana Doyel had to give a talk in church. Right before she got up to speak, our investigators, Ester and Marcelo, walked in. It was great! This is their third time coming to church. We just need to teach them a few more things and then they can be baptized! Ester wants to get baptized and she wants Marcelo to get baptized. He´s not so sure yet, though. But I´ll keep you all updated!

Yesterday were the elections here in Argentina so we had to be in our pension by 6 o´clock instead of 9 o´clock.

I hope that you all had a great week!

Love,
Katie
