5/23

Dear Family,

We had a great week!

Our investigator Ricardo is still out of town. He gets back the 7th of June and will get baptized on the 18th. We`ve been calling him to teach him over the phone. He`s been reading in the Book of Mormon and praying! Today we looked up the address of a church near him in Córdoba so that he can go to church. He`s also going to try to go see the temple while he`s there. We are so excited for him to come back and get baptized.

Our investigator Luis came to church yesterday. He left church after Sacrament Meeting before we could talk to him. We think that his heart is softening. He has a baptismal date for this Saturday so we are hoping that he`ll get baptized!

Micaela and Omar are progressing a ton! We went over all of the baptismal interview questions and they know everything. On Friday, Gustavo (a youth for the ward) accompanied us to go teaching again. We left our lesson with Micaela and Omar. Gustavo was so happy that he started to cry a little bit! Members really feel a special spirit when they participate in missionary work.  They were going to get baptized this Saturday but they didn`t come to church :( They didn`t come because they overslept. And then overslept because they stayed up till 5 am reading the Book of Mormon together and watching the Restoration movie! How cool is that? Haha but we are hoping to have them in church this week and then get them baptized! :)

We also have a new investigator named Sergio. He`s a little old man that we visited with another little old man from our ward, Hermano Jorge. Sergio is super awesome. We talked to him about the Book of Mormon and before we could even invite him to read it he said that he was going to read it and mark with a bookmark where he read to so that we could see that he was reading! Haha.

We have so many golden investigators! I love it!
I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is true. It has power in it`s pages. Each word was inspired of God and written for our days. It touches the hearts of people all over the world, from Utah to Ushuaia. I know that it`s true and I invite you all to read it every day and try to find what Heavenly Father put in there just for you.

Love,
Hermana Martin
